How to Protect Your Car’s Interior

Navnit Motors Pvt Ltd

Step by step instructions to Protect Your Car’s Interior :

Attempt to include the hours you spend in your auto. It’s a great deal, would it say it isn’t? Drives, errand runs and street treks can make them sit in those can seats for quite a long time, and amid that time, you and your travelers are really living in the inside. That implies smears on the windows, scratches on the dash and nourishment in the seat hole gather and abandon you pondering what happened to the spotless inside you swear it had when you first purchased the auto.

A Quick Clean

Fortunately, it isn’t so much that hard to keep a car’s interiors from looking excessively, all around, lived in. To begin with things in the first place, get something to stuff your garbage into. Simply utilize a plastic sack or a compartment you don’t use around the house and toss it in the rear ward sitting arrangement. You can even join an impermanent snare to the entryway or seat to keep things significantly neater. Each once and for a little while, take it out and savor in the way that you haven’t spent a hour tidying up. Keeping junk off the floor likewise safeguards your rugs, which can get recolored from any number of things.

Taking a cloth to your dash and cowhide seats is made less demanding on the off chance that you have them close by. The key here is to simply utilize a smidgen of sudsy water to wipe the surfaces of your auto – some cleaning items contain alcohols that rashly dry and age the materials by lessening the adaptability in the vinyl. Store a little splash jug of your custom made cleaning liquid and a cloth under your seat or in a capacity receptacle for access when you’re sitting tight for your children to escape school or sitting in that insane lengthy drive-through line. This will likewise prove to be useful when a crisis spill happens. In conclusion, keep your auto possessing an aroma similar to roses (or if nothing else a laundromat) by including dryer sheets under the seats.

Weather Resistant

You can’t markdown the effect weather has on your vehicle either. In summer, sandy feet can rapidly make a wreck of an inside, and might we venture to specify the decimation brought on by mud? If you spend a lot of time ducking in and out of the elements, you might want to grab some all-weather floor mats. They’re easy to clean and do a great job of keeping the muck in one place.

The sun’s rays can also wreak havoc on your car’s surfaces, making vinyl split after some time and materials to fade. A simple solution is to regularly put a sunshade on the windshield. They’re inexpensive and help to keep your interior looking new.

Saving cash on repair work and cleaning comes all the more effortlessly when you take an ideal opportunity to make precaution mind a need. Not just will these traps make your auto a more pleasant spot to keep, grime out of your ride will eliminate expansive upkeep costs later on and will hold its quality after some time.

‘Gatimaan ki Paathshala’ is a specially designed initiative by Maruti Suzuki to educate the importance of road safety amongst school children in a fun way. The educational activities include Gatimaan, a superhero character, to explain to the children on how to be safe on roads through an interactive AV. This is followed by sessions on Dos and Don’ts for road usage and safety.

To make the learning more effective, Maruti Suzuki has introduced a module of a road track with props like traffic signals, battery operated kids car, bicycle, etc. Students play the role of a driver, cyclist, traffic signal, pedestrian, etc., and demonstrate the benefits of following traffic rules.

These institutes offer learner and refresher courses, including to commercial vehicle drivers.

Prevent your car skidding in Monsoon

Navnit Motors Pvt Ltd

Taking care of your windscreen is an important part of car maintenance.Skidding is more likely to occur when there is ice, snow or water on the road…..

Skidding is more likely to occur when there is ice, snow or water on the road. However, it is important to remember that most skidding is a result of bad driving. A car will only skid if it is being driven at an inappropriate speed or if provoked to do so by aggressive steering, braking or acceleration.

To prevent skidding you should never ask your car to do more than it can do with the grip available.

As a result, in poor weather conditions you should:

  • Slow down
  • Increase your stopping distance, so if the vehicle in front stops unexpectedly you have enough space to brake to a stop without skidding.
  • Take extra care when approaching a bend.
  • Be gentle and progressive when steering, accelerating and braking.

Your car is more likely to skid when the road is icy or covered in snow. In such conditions to avoid skidding you should slow right down. You should also steer and brake very gently. Your stopping distance should also be increased by up to ten times greater than in normal conditions.

When driving in winter, and especially on a winters evening when the sky is clear, you should look out for ice forming on the road. For early warning signs look to see if ice is forming on the windows of parked cars.

You should bee extra careful when travelling on an exposed road such as a motorway bridge. Ice will often form here first. If your car has an outside temperature meter then keep a close eye on it.

In freezing conditions beware of rain. This can form black ice, which lies invisible on the road. Black ice isn’t actually black it is transparent. Hence it’s notoriety as a driver hazard.

In icy conditions your steering may start to feel lighter. Tyre noise may also decrease. If this happens then you are likely to be driving on ice. To prevent a dangerous skid lift your foot gently off the accelerator. This will allow your car to slow smoothly and gently. If you need to continue driving then do so slowly using a high gear. This will help you avoid hard acceleration, which could spin the wheels.

Accelerating too hard can also cause skidding. If you accelerate too hard when moving off on a slippery road then the driven wheels will spin without propelling the car forward. In icy conditions some wheel spin may be inevitable. To minimize the spin try engaging a higher gear.

Braking hard on a slippery road can also cause your car to skid. Your wheels can lock up and you will continue onwards with little or no braking effect. The locked wheels will also prevent you from steering. If this happens you should release the brake pedal to free the wheels then reapply the brake less harshly. If your car has ABS fitted then your wheels won’t lock. However don’t think ABS eases all problems when driving on a slippery road. It doesn’t.

On a slippery road if you approach a corner too quickly there is a good possibility that your car will skid. This is even more likely if you also brake harshly whilst taking the corner. You turn the steering wheel to corner but there is no response and the car continues on ahead.

This is a classic front wheel skid. If this happens :

  • Remove your foot from the accelerator. This throws the weight balance of the car forwards and helps the tyres find grip.
  • Do not use the brake.
  • As the tyres find grip carefully steer the car into the direction of the skid. For example, if the rear of the car skids to the left, steer quickly and smoothly to the left.

Windscreen and Window Care

Navnit Motors Pvt. Ltd.

Taking care of your windscreen is an important part of car maintenance. Here are some tips….

Taking good care of your car means that you need to take care of every part of your car, including your windscreen and windows. Not taking care of this particular part of your car can lead to a number of problems which include reduced safety and increased expenses due to the need for car windshield repair or replacement. To avoid these, careful windscreen and window maintenance and care is indeed needed.

Park your car in a sheltered environment

Like with everything, prevention is better than cure. People tend to forget that when they park their car in the open, things can fall on their windscreen causing avoidable damage. Park away from buildings, especially in India where people have the nasty habit of throwing little things out the window. Also, in costal areas around the country, remember to never park under a coconut tree, especially during the monsoon season.

Drive at a safe distance

Staying too close to the car in front of you can result in small stones and pebbles or other similar projectiles flung by the tyres of these cars to hit your windshield. Items being thrown out carelessly by the occupants in the cars (as we see commonly in India) ahead of you can also cause damage to your windshield, so staying a reasonably safe distance away is a good idea.

Make sure your wipers are in good condition

Using damaged windscreen wipers or those that are seldom cleaned can result in deep scratches into your glass. Always ensure that your wipers are in good condition (especially in the monsoons) and are clean before you set off on your journey. Also remember to never use your wipers when the windscreen is dry. Always use your windscreen washers to wet the surface of the glass before using your wipers. It is also a good idea to add just a small amount of shampoo or soap solution into your windscreen washer fluid container so as to give the wipers a smoother and less friction prone surface.

Clean off stubborn stains by hand

The best way to clean a windscreen or any auto window is with wet newspaper. Not only does this ensure all the tough grime and insect stains are removed, they also act as a pseudo polishing paper ensuring the windscreen becomes as clean as possible. After a generous scrubbing, make sure you wipe off the water either with your clean wipers or with dry newspaper.

Don’t slam your car’s doors

You do not need to slam your car doors to close them. Gently closing them is enough. Slamming can cause your windows and windshields to vibrate, which may result in cracks or chips. Constantly slamming your doors will also cause these cracks to expand, making the need for new side windows or a new windscreen.

Park your car in the shade

India’s extreme heat in the day and relatively cooler temperatures in the night can cause micro cracks in the windscreen and windows. In summer month, especially in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, it is advised that one keeps their windows slightly open so that the heat gets a chance to escape. Too much heat can cause the small cracks to expand and result in irreparable damage.

5 Reasons Why You Should Buy the Maruti Brezza

Navnit Motors Pvt. Ltd.

Maruti Suzuki has recently launched its much-awaited car, the Vitara Brezza. The sub-compact SUV has renewed the competition in its segment. Brezza is an important product for Maruti and its entry into the Compact SUV segment takes the competition. Following are the checked out Maruti’s latest offering and listed 5 aspects that made us feel that you should buy one.

1. Refreshed Design

It is fair to say that Maruti has been quite successful with its designs, and that sets the Brezza apart from the other cars in the segment. The Indo-Japanese automaker has provided the Maruti Brezza Car with a high stance, which bestows it with a conventional SUV look. Moreover, the roof is painted a different colour, giving the car a younger appeal. Other Compect Car design is still a shade less appealing than that of the Brezza.

2. Kitna Deti Hai?

The Vitara Brezza comes with the 1.3-litre DDiS200 diesel engine, which offers a mileage of 24.3 kmpl. Now, this figure is the best in its class and, considering the fact that the car is a sub-compact SUV, the number is even more impressive. The high fuel average becomes all the more important in the Indian context, where people love asking “Kitna deti hai?”

3. Competitive Price

Price is another area where the carmaker has been able to outshine others. The Vitara Brezza diesel has been launched at a price of Rs. 6.99 lac. This is economical in every sense! The low price becomes more pronounced, when one realizes. The Brezza is perfect for someone looking for a car with good looks, ample of features and impressive mileage.

4. Safety Features

The company offers driver-side airbags as standard across variants, making it the only car to have one in its segment. While dual airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) are available as options right from the base variant. Providing the Brezza good competition in terms of the safety features. Lending better safety features is certainly an appreciative move by Maruti since, of late, it has been criticised for not providing enough safety features in its cars. Partial credit for the same goes to the government, which has been pressing for such features in cars for a while now.

5. Trusted Engine

Last but not the least, the Brezza has Maruti’s most reliable engine, the DDiS200. The engine powers a fleet of cars for Maruti, including the Ciaz, the Ertiga and the S Cross. In the latest offering, it produces 88bhp of power and 200Nm of torque. The car is quick enough to complete a 0–100 kmph sprint in 13.3 seconds.
